"Fragrance Creators thanks the Federal Trade Commission for extending the comment period to April 24 on their Guides for the Use of Environmental Marketing Claims (the Green Guides). The Guides are intended to avoid consumer confusion from misleading environmental marketing claims and to help provide actionable guidance to industry. With innovation at the heart of the fragrance value chain’s sustainability efforts, we appreciate the additional time for us to provide meaningful insight and comments to the Commission. We are pleased to work with our members and our allied trades to encourage updates to the Green Guides that reduce confusion, encourage innovation, and increase consumer confidence in the environmental aspects of the goods they use every day."
